Ohayo !!! Today, I will just give you single words of the given place. When you visit Japan, you might use those words as nouns. Let’s start with the following.

KOBAN – POLICE STATION

Accidentally, when you encountered troubles here, you should come to KOBAN.

GINKO – Bank

Normally, they open from 9AM to 3PM on weekdays (Mon to Fri). You can exchange your currency to Japan Yen.

EKI – STATION

You can get an access to anywhere.

SIYAKUSYO – CITY HALL / CITY OFFICE

I guess travelers don’t need to visit. But if you are really interested to know more about the native life in each city, you may go there and earn more information about local festivals, community and local market.

YU-BIN KYOKU – POST OFFICE

This is where you can send some belongings and souvenirs by international mail to your country. They are open from 9AM to 5PM only for weekdays (From Mon to Fri). Some main post offices are also available on weekends.

About today’s short lesson, you can replace the word in the previous sentence. Going back to NIHONGO 2-6 example :

GATTKO- WA DOKO DESUKA → GINKO- WA DOKO DESUKA
