Who would not be enchanted by this island? I was lucky enough to get a chance to explore one of the most beautiful islands in Panay as no other than Gigantes Island or known as Islas de Gigantes, meaning Giant Island.

The place is so fascinating and magnificent. There are stunning rock formations with long sandbar beaches. You can imagine it as you can see in a movie.

The bluish green and clear water invited us to get more attracted to the place. It is also perfect for island hopping activities and I did not waste my time to charter a boat with 3 guides and go for an extra mile.

Aside from that, you can also spend time walking in the islands and feel the warm breeze.

I guess other locals and foreign tourists have not yet discovered this hidden attraction because the place is a remote area and it is not accessible to visit. I have seen only a few there and mostly locals. I had time to converse with them as I tried hard to speak a few Tagalog words like a sort of short greeting.

You feel like you are already attached because we are specially treated by the local guides. The place and people are amazing. When you stay in Iloilo and about to go there, it takes around 6 hours to reach the harbor. If you prefer a day tour trip, you should prepare earlier in the morning to witness the breathtaking view during the day because travel is time consuming. You can rent a car or book a trip with a tour guide. So far, this was the most memorable and most enjoyable tour I had in the Philippines.

Considered a great experience and a fun adventure.
A must visit place and worth remembering.
