Everyone is doing and I knew it. Now we will learn how to tell the time mainly in Japanese language. Take note of this. Time in Japanese has a unit.
Meaning,” いちじ“ ITI JI is 1:00. ” にじ“ NI JI is 2:00. Could you tell the time from 1:00 to 12:00? ITI NI SAN… like that. Then just put ” じ” after the number. But only ” よん“ & ” きゅう” have special forms. They became” よ“& ” く“.
This is 4:05 pm. Okay? 4 is ” よん “ right? But for time hr , just say ” よ “.
Next, This is 9:15 right? Now is ” くじ “ KU JI. Then , 15 minute. we say ” ふん or ぶん or ぷん “ FUN BUN PUN.
How about this ? 9:15. So first, ” くじ “. then 15 min. ” 15 ふん ” JYU-GO FUN. finally, ” くじ じゅーご ふん “. we have rule. This rule doesn’t have regularity. Just register in your brain. It’s so troublesome.. I understand your feeling. I give you the tips. from 1PUN to 10 PUN first. Then after 10, follow the ones place.
And only 30min is different when saying ” はん “ HAN. 6:30 – ” ROKU JI HAN ” 10:30 – ” JYU-JI HAN ” like that.
