This is Singapore. I experienced to travel a lot in this country. Let me introduce to you some places that I went to. Of course, you can search in an internet or travel magazines. So famous places have only photos and short articles. I will write further locations for you.
First, I will introduce any hawkers center. You can search the one near you by google. Normally, I always use this food court. Natives like this location for meal. According to friends, Singaporean don’t want to cook so much ( It’s depends on personal ), because almost of the couples are working together. So, they prefer to eat outside. The reason why there are many hawkers near residence area.

In here, many small shops are serving meal and juices, Tiger beer, coffee, etc. You can choose according to your preference. Price is reasonable. You can eat around USD 3, 4, 5. If you will go restaurants, you must pay USD 10,20,30 more… so natives like this area.
And here, you can choose all kinds of Asian cuisines like Singapore, Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Malaysian and Western.

My recommendations are a sugar cane juice and Bak kut teh with rice. When you order the sugar cane juice, the staff squeeze the fresh sugar cane by machine for you. Singapore Bak kut teh is spicy with pepper and good taste. The soup color is whiter than Malaysia Bak kut teh. Depends on you. For me, I prefer Malaysia Ba kut teh than Singapore. But Singapore one is also yummy.

In the morning, I often choose the Roti Prata. This is an Indian food. They serve some kinds of Prata in Plain, with Onion, or with banana etc. You tear by hand then dip in curry sauce. A little bit sweet and curry is spicy. Those taste blends inside your mouth. I love it so much. Price is affordable.

And another choice in the morning is Pao. If you find good Pao restaurants, you are lucky. Anyway, I found it already. It has very juicy meat filling. I miss this food so much.If you stay in this place near here, you check the shop.

Another tasty food in hawkers is prawn noodles.

Some shops always make a queue for buying this. Near Thong Bahru St. and near China town, hawkers are popular in prawn noodles. but don’t worry, I try to eat in many shops, all noodles are satisfying.

Of course, there are many famous restaurants here. You can choose all. Now, is only about hawkers because I love them so much and help me from starving.
