Traditional foods at UTSUNOMIYA. GYOZA

Sounds familiar? Gyoza is one of traditional foods in Japan. According to some news, GYOZA came from China in 18th century. After coming in here, it had been changed its original style for Japanese. The reason why you can eat the unique taste here.

Each restaurants have its own version of taste and shape to attract customers. Normally, GYOZA is baked and steamed. We preferably love the burnt color appearance so much than the steamed one. 

Here, the most consumed prefecture is Tochigi (Utsunomiya City). Second, is Shizuoka prefecture (Hamamatsu City). If you wish to visit there, try eating Gyoza with beer.
